CSBeacon uses Plausible Analytics for privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics. Plausible does not use CSBeacon analytics cookies, advertising cookies, marketing pixels, cross-site ad tracking, or session replay.

Essential cookies are needed to keep you signed in, protect authenticated routes, remember session state, and operate the product safely. These cookies cannot be disabled through CSBeacon without breaking core functionality.

• csbeacon_session, used by the Steam sign-in flow and CSBeacon session handling.
• Security cookies or tokens used to protect authenticated requests and prevent unauthorized access.
• csbeacon_demo_mode, used to remember whether demo mode is enabled.

CSBeacon uses local storage and session storage for product preferences, demo behavior, saved UI choices, and smoother product behavior. Clearing browser storage may reset local preferences, repeat onboarding, or sign you out.

• Liquidation-fee and P&L display preferences.
• Dismissed pricing-warning notices.
• Tutorial or onboarding completion state.
• One-time inventory refresh guards used to avoid repeated refresh attempts during a browser session.
• A first-party email-link token created only after you submit the optional marketing signup form. The token is opaque, does not contain your email address, and lets CSBeacon associate that subscription with a Steam account you create later in the same browser.
• Local browser preferences that remember a dismissed or completed marketing signup so the prompt does not repeatedly interrupt you.
• Manual transaction draft state used when moving between Wishlist and Transactions.

CSBeacon and its service providers may process technical request data such as IP address, browser, device, page requested, timestamp, status code, and request details. This supports security, abuse prevention, rate limiting, troubleshooting, and reliability.

CSBeacon uses Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate public-site traffic, referral sources, basic campaign performance, and high-level product interest such as demo or sign-in button clicks.

Campaign parameters attached to a Steam sign-in link may be carried through Steam in a signed return URL and associated with the resulting CSBeacon account. This does not require an advertising cookie.

During the current page visit, CSBeacon may carry campaign parameters or a coarse referring source to a Steam sign-in link so signup and inventory-connection sources can be measured. The coarse source is included in the signed return information that passes through Steam during sign-in. This attribution is kept in memory until sign-in, is not stored in an analytics cookie or browser identifier, and does not include the full referring URL.

CSBeacon may use privacy-preserving error monitoring to understand reliability problems and fix product issues.

If CSBeacon adds non-essential tracking that requires consent or opt-out controls, this notice will be updated before that tracking is used.

Emails may include basic delivery, bounce, complaint, or unsubscribe details if email alerts or support emails are turned on. External links to Steam, marketplaces, documentation, or support resources may be governed by those third parties' own cookies and policies.

You can use your browser settings to delete or block cookies and local storage. Blocking essential cookies may prevent CSBeacon from signing you in or preserving your session.

CSBeacon does not provide a separate cookie banner because it uses essential storage and cookie-free Plausible Analytics rather than advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
